Jungala 2016

At Jungala 2016, the main stage and canopy design blended botanical fantasy with psychedelic detail to create an otherworldly performance space set deep within a forest environment. The stage structure featured a vibrant, plant-inspired design, incorporating large sculptural elements that resembled blooming flowers, twisting vines, and abstract organic forms. Airbrushed detailing and layered textures brought depth and vibrancy to the
installation, with colour gradients shifting across shades of magenta, green, purple, and gold.

Suspended above, the canopy continued the theme with a striking radial design-constructed from digitally printed and hand-finished stretch fabric. The overhead piece functioned as both sunshade and visual centrepiece, casting colourful light and shadow over the crowd throughout the day.

Designed with both visual impact and environmental integration in mind, the setup contributed to Jungala’s
immersive atmosphere while maintaining a functional and festival-ready build.
