300sqm Internal lining and 45sqm stage installation

Set in the striking landscape of the Western Cape mountains, this immersive stretch tent installation was designed to completely transform the event space into a visually captivating environment. The project featured a fully custom tent lining system, printed with a high-impact black-and-white optical art design that manipulated depth and perspective to create a dynamic and surreal atmosphere.

The tent’s ceiling and surrounding vertical panels were engineered to work as a cohesive visual canvas, with each pattern flowing seamlessly across tensioned fabric surfaces. The optical illusions within the artwork created a sense of movement and dimension, enhancing the sensory experience for event attendees and making the space feel both expansive and enveloping.

At the rear of the structure, a central visual “portal” served as a focal point for the stage area. This intricate,
symmetrical design framed performers and speakers while also functioning as a striking photo opportunity. The use of natural wooden poles contrasted beautifully with the bold, futuristic graphics, tying the structure
harmoniously to its organic surroundings.
